On Friday 18th January and/or Saturday 19th January Shirley Newton is planning a guided walk around Southwark looking at its vibrant and colourful history. This will be a fundraiser for The Vineyard Project in Richmond. We are asking for voluntary donations but would suggest £10 (obviously if members prefer to pay less or indeed nothing that is entirely up to you). Shirley is happy to do both days if there is the demand - minimum 5, maximum 15. The walk will start at 10.30am at the north end of the Millennium Bridge and hopefully end up for lunch at The George Inn in Southwark. Saturday 22nd June, we have booked our stall for the Kew Midsummer Fete.  If you are planning to be busy in the kitchen during the cold winter months making marmalade or chutney, please consider making an extra pot or two to donate to our stall.
