Welcome to The Mayor of Richmond

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Richmond, Ben Khosa, to our meeting last night.  He will be stepping down as Mayor of Richmond in May, and for the year of his Mayorship, he has been supporting the local charity Refuge Richmond.  The charity we have been supporting for the last 5 years is the Chiswick Safehouse run by Refuge, so it was wonderful to find out why the Mayor has been supporting this charity.  One of the amazing things he has done is to carry out a sky dive, for which he raised £6,000!  (He also damaged his foot in the process, but this does not seem to have worried him too much)
